God’s Appearing Has Brought the New Age

God’s six-thousand-year management plan is drawing to an end, and the gate of the kingdom has been opened to everyone who seeks God’s appearing. Dear brothers and sisters, what are you waiting for now? What are you seeking? Are you all waiting for God’s appearing? Are you all searching for God’s footsteps? How desirable is God’s appearing! And how untraceable are God’s footsteps! In such an age and such a world, what shall we do to see the day of God’s appearing? What shall we do to keep up with God’s footsteps? Such questions confront everyone who is waiting for God’s appearing. You all have thought about such questions more than once, but what is the result? Where does God appear? Where are God’s footsteps? Have you got the answers? Many people may answer like this: God appears among all those who follow him, and God’s footsteps are among us; it’s just so simple! A formulaic answer anyone can give, but do you understand what God’s appearing is and what God’s footsteps are? God’s appearing means that God personally comes to earth to do his work, descending among men with his own identity, with his own disposition, and in his special way to do the work of opening an age and ending an age. Such appearing is not a ritual, not a sign, not a picture, not a miracle, and not a great vision, much less a religious process, but an actual fact that is real and true and that all men can touch and see. Such appearing is not for going through a process, not for a short-time work, but for a stage of work in his management plan. God’s appearing always has significance and has to do with his management plan. The “appearing” spoken of here is absolutely different from the “appearing” when God guides man, leads man, and inspires man. Each time God appears, he will do a stage of great work. Such a work is different from the work done in any other age. It is beyond man’s imagination and has never been experienced by any man. It is to open a new age and to end the old age. It is a stage of newer and more uplifted work to save mankind and even more a work to lead mankind into a new age. This is the significance of God’s appearing.

When you have all understood what God’s appearing is, how should you search for God’s footsteps? This question is not difficult to explain. That is: Where there is God’s appearing, there are God’s footsteps. Such an explanation sounds very simple, but to do it will not be that easy, because many people do not know where exactly God appears, much less know where God is willing to appear or where God should appear. Some people may think very impulsively that where there is the working of the Holy Spirit there is God’s appearing, where there are spiritual figures there is God’s appearing, or where people have high reputation there is God’s appearing. Let’s not discuss for now whether such thoughts are right or wrong. To explain such a thing, we have to first be clear about a goal. We are searching for God’s footsteps but not searching for spiritual figures, much less pursuing after famous men. We are pursuing after God’s footsteps. Therefore, since we want to search for God’s footsteps, we have to search for God’s will, search for God’s word, and search for God’s utterance. This is because where there is God’s new word there is God’s voice, where there are God’s footsteps there are God’s deeds, where there is God’s expression there is God’s appearing, and where there is God’s appearing there exists the truth, the way, and the life. When you search for God’s footsteps, you all neglect this word, “God is the truth, the way, and the life.” So, although many people have received the truth, they do not think that they have found God’s footsteps, much less acknowledge that it is God’s appearing. What a serious mistake this is! God’s appearing cannot possibly fit man’s notions, much less can he possibly appear according to man’s requirements. In doing the work, God has his own choice and his own plan, and even more has his own goal and his own way. Whatever work he does, he does not need to consult with man or ask for man’s suggestions, much less inform anyone of it. This is God’s disposition and even more is what everyone should know. If you want to see God’s appearing and want to follow God’s footsteps, you should first come out of your notions, and do not demand that God work this way or that way, much less restrict God to your scope or to your notions. Rather, you should require yourselves as to how you should seek God’s footsteps, how you should accept God’s appearing, and how you should obey God’s new work. This is what man should do. Because no man is the truth and no man has the truth, what man should do is to seek, accept, and obey.

No matter whether you are an American, a Briton, or a man of any other nationality, you should come out of the scope of your nationality and go beyond your self and look at God’s work as a created being; in this way you will not limit God’s footsteps to a scope. This is because now many people think in their notion that God cannot possibly appear in a certain country or among a certain race. How profound is the significance of God’s working and how important is God’s appearing. Could they be figured out by man’s notion and mind? So I say that you should break your notions of nationality and race to seek God’s appearing! Only in this way will you not be bound by notions, and only in this way will you be qualified to welcome God’s appearing. Otherwise, you will forever be one who is in darkness and forever be one who cannot receive God’s approval.

God is the God of all mankind. He does not regard himself as the private possession of a certain country or a certain race, but he does the work in his plan without being limited to any way or any country or race. Maybe such a way you have never imagined. Maybe such a way you hold a negative attitude toward. Maybe the country or the race in which God appears is just the one discriminated against by all people and is just the most backward on earth. However, God has his wisdom, and by his great power and by his truth and his disposition, he has truly gained a group of people who are of one heart and one mind with him and has gained a group of conquered people whom he intended to make and who have undergone all kinds of sufferings and trials and undergone all kinds of persecutions and can follow to the end. God appears without being limited to any way or country for the purpose that he can accomplish the work in his plan. For example, God was incarnated in Judea for the purpose that he could accomplish the work of being crucified to redeem all mankind. But all the Jews thought that it was impossible for God to do that and it was impossible for God to be incarnated to become such an image as the Lord Jesus. Their “impossible” became the basis of their condemning God and resisting God, which ultimately led to the destruction of Israel. Many people today have again made such a mistake. They widely preach that God is about to appear, but at the same time they condemn God’s appearing. Their “impossible” has again circumscribed God’s appearing within their imaginations. So I see many people laugh outrageously after receiving God’s word. Isn’t the “laugh” the same as the Jews’ condemnation and blasphemy? You are not reverent before the truth, much less do you have a thirsting attitude, but you are just researching blindly and waiting mindlessly. What could you receive by researching and waiting like this? Could you receive God’s personal guidance? You cannot even discern God’s utterance and word, so what qualification do you have to see God’s appearing? Where God appears, there is the expression of the truth and there is God’s voice. Only those who can accept the truth are the ones who can recognize God’s voice. Only such ones have the qualification to see God’s appearing. Drop your notions! Quiet down and read these words carefully. As long as you have a heart of thirsting for the truth, God will inspire you to understand his will and understand his word. Drop your view of “impossible”! The more “impossible” man thinks a thing is, the more possibly it will happen. This is because God’s wisdom is higher than the heavens and God’s thoughts are higher than man’s thoughts, and God’s work is done beyond the scope of man’s thinking and notion. The more impossible a thing is, the more there is the truth to seek in it. The more unimaginable a thing is according to man’s notion, the more there is God’s will in it. This is because no matter where God appears, God is still God, and God’s substance will by no means change because of the place or the way he appears in. No matter where God’s footsteps are, his disposition will not change. No matter where God’s footsteps are, he is the God of all mankind. Take the Lord Jesus for example. He is not only the God of the Israelites, but also the God of all Asians, Europeans, and Americans, and even more the unique God in the entire universe. Let’s from God’s utterance and word search for God’s will, discover God’s appearing, and keep up with God’s footsteps! God is the truth, the way, and the life. His word and his appearing coexist. His disposition and his footsteps are being made open to mankind all the time. Dear brothers and sisters, I hope that you all can see God’s appearing in these words, start to keep up with God’s footsteps and step toward the new age, and enter into the beautiful new heaven and new earth God has prepared for those who are waiting for his appearing!
