How You Should Walk the Last Leg of the Path

You are now on the last leg of the path, and this is a critical portion of it. Perhaps you have endured quite a bit of suffering, done a lot of work, traveled many roads, and listened to many sermons, and it has not been easy to make it to now. If you cannot bear the suffering that is in front of you and if you continue on as you did in the past, then you cannot be perfected. This isn’t to scare you—this is a fact. After Peter underwent quite a bit of God’s work, he gained some insight and a lot of discernment. He also understood quite a bit of the principle of service, and later on he was able to be fully devoted to what Jesus entrusted him with. The great refinement that he received was mostly because in the things that he did, he felt that he owed God too much and he would never be able to make it up to Him, and he recognized that mankind is very corrupt, so he had a guilty conscience. Jesus had said many things to him and at the time he had just a little bit of understanding.

How Peter Came to Know Jesus

During the time that Peter spent with Jesus, he saw many lovable characteristics in Jesus, many aspects worthy of emulation, and many which supplied him. Although Peter saw the being of God in Jesus in many ways, and saw many lovable qualities, at first he did not know Jesus. Peter began following Jesus when he was 20 years old, and continued so for six years. During that time, he never came to know Jesus, but was willing to follow Him purely out of admiration for Him. When Jesus first called to him on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, He asked: “Simon, son of Jonah, will you follow Me?” Peter said: “I must follow he who is sent by the heavenly Father. I must acknowledge he who is chosen by the Holy Spirit. I will follow You.” At the time, Peter had heard tell of a man named Jesus, the greatest of the prophets, God’s beloved Son, and Peter was constantly hoping to find Him, hoping for a chance to see Him (because that is how he was then led by the Holy Spirit). Although he had never seen Him and had only heard rumors about Him, gradually a yearning and adoration for Jesus grew in his heart, and he often yearned to one day look upon Jesus. And how did Jesus call upon Peter? He too had heard tell of a man called Peter, and it was not that the Holy Spirit instructed Him: “Go to the Sea of Galilee, where there is one called Simon, son of Jonah.” Jesus heard someone say that there was one called Simon, son of Jonah, and that people had heard his sermon, that he too preached the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, and that the people who heard him were all moved to tears. After hearing this, Jesus followed that person, and made for the Sea of Galilee; when Peter accepted Jesus’ call, he followed Him.

Gospel Movie Clip "God's Name Has Changed?!" (2) - Is God's Name Truly Unchangeable?

Gospel Movie Clip "God's Name Has Changed?!" (2) - Is God's Name Truly Unchangeable?

Pastors and elders of the religious world frequently preach to believers that the Lord Jesus' name can never change and that only by relying on the Lord Jesus' name can we be saved. Does this kind of view accord with the truth? Jehovah God said, "Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am Jehovah; and beside me there is no savior" (Isaiah 43:10-11). In the Age of Grace, God incarnate took the name Jesus. God is unchangeable, so how can His name change? Furthermore, Revelation prophesied that God will have a new name in the last days, so what is this all about? Many people are at a loss over this, but this short video will disclose the truth to you.

What Is the Purpose of the CCP Denying and Condemning Christ?

Zheng Weiguo (Minister of a municipal United Front Work Department): You witness that both Jesus and Almighty God are Christ, the first and the last Christ. Our CCP does not recognize it. In The Internationale, it clearly said, “There has never been any savior of the world.” You insist on witnessing the advent of Christ the Savior. How can the CCP not condemn you? In our opinion, the Jesus whom Christians believe in was an ordinary man. He was even nailed on the cross. Even Judaism did not recognize Him as Christ. Isn’t this the fact? The incarnate Almighty God in the last days that you witness is also an ordinary person in fact. The CCP’s documents describe it clearly that He has a surname and first name. This is also a fact. Why do you witness that such an ordinary person is Christ, the appearance of God? Humph! It is really incredible! No matter how you witness what truth has been expressed and how judgment work in the last days has been done by Almighty God, our CCP will not recognize that this person is God. I think you are just like those people of Christianity, Catholicism, and Eastern Orthodoxy who believe in Jesus, believing in a man as God. Isn’t it ignorant? What exactly is God and the appearance and work of God? Does it mean that the mere expression of the truth and doing the work of God are the appearance of the true God? This is what we will never accept. If God can perform miracles and wonders, destroy the CCP and all those who resist Him, then we will recognize Him as the true God. If God appears in the sky, makes a thunderous roar that frightens the entire human race, that is the appearance of God. Then our CCP will recognize Him. Otherwise, the CCP will never acknowledge there is God.

The Lord Jesus Himself prophesied that God would incarnate in the last days and appear as the Son of man to do work.

Bible Verses for Reference:

Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not” (Luk 12:40).

For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luk 17:24-25).

Eastern Lightning | Blessed Are They Which Are Persecuted For Righteousness’ Sake

Eastern Lightning | Blessed Are They Which Are Persecuted For Righteousness’ Sake

The last days’ gospel of Almighty God is spreading in Mainland China like rolling thunders and surging waves. It has shaken the whole religious community and has at the same time been condemned and rejected by all denominations of the religious community and persecuted by the kings of the world. Many people with ulterior motives disregard the truth. They fabricate rumors as they desire and spread slander against Almighty God to obstruct the spread of the last days’ gospel of Almighty God. Some brothers and sisters who do not know the truth think that since it is the true way it should not be persecuted. Here I will talk about my understanding of the viewpoint “If it is the true way it cannot be persecuted.” I would also like to get guidance from the brothers and sisters from all denominations.

Gospel Movie "Stay Out of My Business" (5) - Exposing the Truth of the Pharisees' Resistance to God

Gospel Movie "Stay Out of My Business" (5) - Exposing the Truth of the Pharisees' Resistance to God

When Lord Jesus appeared and did work, the Jewish priests, scribes, and Pharisees wildly slandered, condemned, and blasphemed Lord Jesus. They nailed Lord Jesus to the cross, and obstructed people from accepting Lord Jesus. During the last days, God has become incarnate again. He has become manifest and is doing work. Pastors and elders of religious circles again wildly resist and condemn God's work of the last days, blocking believers by hook or by crook from accepting Almighty God. Why did God's two incarnations, when He became manifest and did work, meet with resistance and condemnation from religious leaders? What is the source and true nature of the religious leaders' resistance?

Watch More : "The Eastern Lightning" has testified that the Lord Jesus has already returned, expressed the truth, and made complete a group of overcomers. Does this fulfill the prophecies from the Bible?

Can We Enter the Kingdom of Heaven Now That Our Sins Have Been Forgiven

Can We Enter the Kingdom of Heaven Now That Our Sins Have Been Forgiven

About Lord Jesus
After the meeting today, a brother came seeking me, his face filled with worry. He said that God requires people to be sanctified, but that he often involuntarily commits sin, and if he always lives like this in sin, then will he be able to enter into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord comes? I told him that the Lord Jesus was crucified and that He took upon Himself all our sins, paying the price with His life. I said that our sins had been forgiven because of our faith in the Lord Jesus, and that the Lord no longer saw us as sinners, and that as long as we could give up everything and expend ourselves, work hard for the Lord, and endure till the very end, then we would be raptured up into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord returned. After the brother heard me say this, he looked as though he hadn’t gotten the answer he’d wanted, and he left looking somewhat disappointed. As I watched him walk away, I felt some very complex emotions. To tell the truth, didn’t I have the same worries as this brother did? Thinking of how I had believed in the Lord for many years but had often been bound by sin, and had been living in a condition whereby I sinned in the daytime and confessed in the evening, I didn’t wish to keep living that way either. But I really wasn’t capable of overcoming sin, and so I often prayed to the Lord and strengthened my reading of the scriptures. And yet I never resolved the problem of my sins. The Lord is holy, so would He commend someone like me, so filled with sin?

What Is the Meaning of Christmas, and Are You Truly Worshiping the Lord Jesus?

What Is the Meaning of Christmas, and Are You Truly Worshiping the Lord Jesus?

By Siyuan

The Origins of Christmas

Every year, as Christmas approaches, shops on the street arrange a dazzling display of Christmas presents, with Santa Claus and Christmas trees, and so on. Festooned in trees and on buildings there are many-colored lights, and whole cities are decorated with lanterns and colored hangings, and everywhere there is joy and excitement. To Christianity, Christmas is a very special holiday, and several months before Christmas, many churches will begin to busy themselves preparing everything necessary for the Christmas holiday. On Christmas Day, the churches are filled, and brothers and sisters get involved in the celebrations, eating Christmas dinner, putting on performances and worshiping the Lord Jesus, and so on. Everyone’s face is flushed with happiness. However, when we get together in joyous gatherings to celebrate the Lord Jesus’ birth, do we understand the meaning of Christmas? Perhaps brothers and sisters will say, “The Lord Jesus was nailed upon the cross to redeem all mankind, and so as to remember and celebrate the Lord Jesus’ birth, Christians established Christmas. Though the specific day on which the Lord Jesus was born is not recorded in the Bible, Christmas gradually became a universal holiday in the wake of the expansion of Jesus Christ’s gospel.” We may have known this, but do we know God’s love and His will for us that was actually hidden behind the birth of the Lord Jesus? And how should we approach Christmas in a way that is after the Lord’s heart?

Revealing the mystery: Know the Incarnate Lord Jesus (Part 2)

Revealing the mystery: Know the Incarnate Lord Jesus (Part 2)

“The life that Jesus lived on earth was a normal life of the flesh. He lived in the normal humanity of His flesh. His authority—to do God’s work and speak God’s word, or to heal the sick and cast out demons, to do such extraordinary things—did not manifest itself, for the most part, until He began His ministry. His life before age twenty-nine, before He performed His ministry, was proof enough that He was just a normal flesh. Because of this, and because He had not yet begun to perform His ministry, people saw nothing divine in Him, saw nothing more than a normal human being, an ordinary man—as when at first some people believed Him to be Joseph’s son. People thought that He was the son of an ordinary man, had no way of telling that He was God’s incarnate flesh; even when, in the course of performing His ministry, He worked many miracles, most people still said that He was Joseph’s son, for He was the Christ with the outer shell of normal humanity. His normal humanity and His work both existed in order to fulfill the significance of the first incarnation, proving that God had entirely come into the flesh, become an utterly ordinary man.

Unveiled: The True Meaning of “It Is Finished” Spoken by the Lord Jesus on the Cross

Unveiled: The True Meaning of “It Is Finished” Spoken by the Lord Jesus on the Cross

By Xiang’ai, Heilongjiang Province

Many brothers and sisters believe that what Jesus meant by saying “It is finished” when He was on the cross was that God’s work to save mankind was completed. But was this really the case? What exactly did He mean by saying “It is finished”? The following article will uncover the true meaning of the words “It is finished” that the Lord Jesus spoke upon the cross. Please read on …

At seven o’clock in the morning, Wang Xue was hurrying to her daughter Hui Min’s house. Half an hour before, Pastor Zhang had come to Wang Xue’s house to tell her that her daughter and son-in-law had accepted Eastern Lightning. This came as a great surprise to Wang Xue, and she thought to herself: “The members of Eastern Lightning testify that the Lord Jesus has returned and that He is expressing His words and performing a stage of work to judge and purify man. And yet the Lord Jesus clearly said ‘It is finished’ when He was upon the cross, and this shows that God’s work to save mankind has already finished. How can the Lord possibly return to do a new stage of work? My daughter and her husband are quite familiar with the Bible, and they pursue the truth quite diligently; they are thoughtful and insightful people, so they won’t have made this decision blindly. How could they have accepted Eastern Lightning? What’s going on here?” Wang Xue was extremely baffled and she wanted to understand the reasons behind this as soon as she could, and so she hurriedly set off for Hui Min’s house.

139-A-2 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God”

139-A-2 Sermons and Fellowship About God’s Word “Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God”

Those Incompatible With Christ Are Surely Opponents of God.” This is the word of God as well as the title of this message. The word of God itself is the truth and the fact. Is it important to know this truth? Extremely so! Why is this truth particularly important? To what extent is it so important? Can you give me an idea? It is quite possible that few people have pondered on this truth. How does one please God with his faith? How should one practice his faith in order to be saved and made perfect by God? What are the criteria for God’s salvation? Especially, many people aspire to become overcomers by being made perfect by God. What are the standards for an overcomer? Undoubtedly, most people have not given it much thought. So the word of God we are reading today is all about this aspect of truth.

Do You Possess the “Immunity” Needed to Defeat Temptation? (Audio Essay)

Do You Possess the “Immunity” Needed to Defeat Temptation? (Audio Essay)

One day, I came across a story. This story mainly told about a mouse that came out of its hole and found that people had intentionally placed a piece of meat in a mousetrap in order to lure it in. The mouse knew that if it touched that piece of meat, then it would be killed by the trap, so it initially thought to refuse the lure, and that it would absolutely not touch that piece of meat. But when the smell of the meat reached its nose, it just couldn’t overcome the temptation, and against its own will it crept closer and closer to the trap. In the end, it couldn’t resist the enticement, and so when it went to eat the piece of meat, it was killed by the trap.

Why Jesus Becomes Flesh as the Son of Man When He Returns?

Why Jesus Becomes Flesh as the Son of Man When He Returns?

By Li Shuo

In recent years, some people testified on the internet that God has already become flesh again and expressed words to do the work of judging and purifying man, which has created no small stir in the religious world. Referring to this, someone posted on the internet: “The four Gospels record clearly: The Lord Jesus appeared to man for forty days in His spiritual body after His resurrection. When He ascended, two angels said to the apostles of the Lord Jesus: ‘This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven’ (Acts 1:11). The Bible says clearly: The Lord Jesus ascended to heaven in His spiritual body, so He will certainly come in spiritual body. Therefore, when the Lord Jesus comes again, He cannot possibly become flesh.”

In the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Do You Know What God’s Hidden Intention Is?

In the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Do You Know What God’s Hidden Intention Is?

Chengxin

One evening, as I sat at my desk after praying to God, I read the parable told by Jesus in Matthew 20:1-16, where the kingdom of heaven is likened to a landowner hiring workers for his vineyard, and it didn’t matter whether they went first thing in the morning or if it was in the noon or the afternoon that they went into the vineyard, their wages were all the same. When the workers who came first learned of this, they grumbled against the landowner, but the landowner replied by saying: “Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with my own? Is your eye evil, because I am good? So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen” (Mat 20:15-16). After reading these several lines of scripture from the Bible I knitted my brows and could not help but think: “It is reasonable to say that those who practice their faith in God for a long time, who forsake more and expend themselves more for the Lord and who toil and work for more years ought to be rewarded with more than those who come later, but in Scripture it says that the wages are the same for those who come early and those who come late, isn’t this God intentionally showing favoritism for those who come later?” I felt that I really didn’t understand these words, I didn’t understand what the Lord’s intention was in saying these words.
