We are now in the last days and the Lord Jesus has long since returned—He is the incarnated Almighty God. Almighty God performs a stage of work of judging and cleansing man with words, but this work is not a stand-alone, self-contained work. Rather it is a deeper, higher work that is performed on the foundation of the works of Jehovah and Jesus. And yet some people say: “The work of Almighty God in the last days goes against the prophecy in Revelation 22:18–19: ‘For I testify to every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.’ The work of Almighty God is an addition to the book of prophecy in the Bible, and whoever follows Almighty God loses their chance to share in the heavenly kingdom.” This is actually assumption and conjecture from those who do not know God or His work, and it is said by people who don’t focus on the background of the Book of Revelation. It totally flies in the face of factual truth and is simply untenable!

In the last days, the Lord Jesus returns to appear and work in the world as the incarnate Almighty God, and to express the truth and perform a stage of work whereby mankind is judged and purified. Many people from all denominations who sincerely believe in the Lord and yearn for His appearance have heard God’s voice and have begun to follow Almighty God. In 2007, due to a lot of pressure in my life, I came to Singapore by myself to work to make a living. All year round, the climate in Singapore is very hot, so every day I would sweat profusely when I was working. It was so rough that I suffered an unspeakable amount, and on top of that it was an unfamiliar life without any relatives or friends, so I thought it to be boring and tedious. One day in August, I received a gospel leaflet on my way home from work which read: “But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you” (1Pe 5:10). Seeing these words gave me a warm feeling in my heart. Then a brother brought me to the church, and the brothers and sisters welcomed me cordially and served me delicious food. I had worked the better part of a year since leaving home, and the warmth of family and delicious home cooked food was something that I hadn’t enjoyed in such a long time. Since I was lonely and drifting aimlessly, hot tears immediately welled up in my eyes, and in that moment I had the feeling that I was back home. Who should I listen to?” She said: “Actually, the Lord Jesus and Almighty God are the same God. It’s just that the names God took on and the work He’s done are different because the ages are different. The Lord Jesus did the work of the Age of Grace, and Almighty God does the work of the Age of Kingdom. He changes the way He works in every age, and He also changes His name. But no matter how His name and His work change, His essence doesn’t change.
