Professor Raffaella Di Marzio: The Church of Almighty God—A Peaceful Home for the Soul

Professor Raffaella Di Marzio: The Church of Almighty God—A Peaceful Home for the Soul

In recent years, as the authorities of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has escalated its persecution of religious freedom, some Christians from The Church of Almighty God (CAG) were forced to escape from China to seek asylum in democratic countries overseas. When these Christians settled down in the countries that allow religious beliefs, they were given free space to create video works. Various video works independently produced by these CAG Christians are attractive to more and more people. Dr. Raffaella Di Marzio, director of the Center for Studies on Freedom of Religion, Belief and Conscience (LIREC) in Italy, also a professor, social activist and psychologist, who has acquainted herself with CAG Christians and its video works, is deeply moved by the movie Where Is My Home in particular. Guess what she says in her comment about The Church of Almighty God.

Human Rights Day: Chinese Christians Abroad Express Support for Persecuted Mainland Groups

Human Rights Day: Chinese Christians Abroad Express Support for Persecuted Mainland Groups

Seventy years ago as the gunpowder smoke from the Second World War was just dissipating, from the tragic cost exacted by the war people began to reflect and realize the importance of upholding basic rights for humanity. On December 10, 1948, the United Nations passed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, establishing that everyone is equal in dignity and human rights. In spite of the fact that China signed this U.N. declaration, in practice, the Chinese Communist Party has never implemented a single article, all the while proclaiming China’s human rights and freedom of religion as well as doing its utmost to cover up the truth of its persecution of religious beliefs and violations of human rights in order to deceive the people of the world. On December 10, 2018 at the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights across Italy, Christians from The Church of Almighty God, which has been most seriously persecuted by the CCP, expressed their support for all persecuted groups in mainland China.

Why Does the Chinese Communist Party Force Christians to Join the Three-Self Church?

Hou Xiangke (Chief of the Public Security Bureau): Han Lu, you must know that the Communist Party is an atheist party and started out from revolution. The Communist Party is most inimical to God and God’s word. The truth that you accept and the path that you walk are hated the most by the Communist Party. You are an eyesore and a thorn in the side for the Communist Party. Therefore, the Communist Party will severely repress you, punish you, and ban you! In China, you must follow the leadership of the Communist Party when you believe in God, accept the Communist Party’s United Front, join the Three-Self Church, and take the path of love for country and religion. Aside from this, there is no way out! Have you seen through these matters?
